Going on IR
The Jets placed Taylor on injured reserve with an undisclosed issue Sunday, Zack Rosenblatt of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: Taylor sustained an injury at an early point in training camp, according to Ethan Greenberg of the team's official site, though it's unclear exactly when or how this issue arose. The 28-year-old wideout appeared in three games while on the practice squad last year, securing two of four targets for 13 yards. Taylor previously looked like he had a solid chance to earn a spot on the final 53-man roster, but he'll now be forced to sit out the entire 2024 campaign unless he's let go from IR with an…read more

Remains with Jets
The Jets signed Taylor to a reserve/future contract Monday.
Analysis: Taylor spent the season on the Jets' practice squad. He was called up three times and accumulated two catches on four targets for 13 yards. Taylor will have a chance to compete for a spot on the Jets' 53-man roster for the 2024 season.

Back to practice squad
Taylor reverted to the Jets' practice squad Monday.
Analysis: Taylor played 10 snaps on offense and 13 on special teams, catching one of his two targets for six yards during the Jets' loss to Las Vegas on Sunday. With the 27-year-old now out of elevations, the Jets will have to sign him to the active roster in order for him to play for New York again this season.

Two targets in Week 10
Taylor caught one of two targets for six yards in Sunday's 16-12 loss to the Raiders.
Analysis: Taylor was elevated from the practice squad for the Week 10 loss, marking the third time he's been promoted to the active roster. He has two catches across those three games. With Taylor out of elevations, the Jets will have to add the wide receiver to the active roster in order to use him again on game days this season.

Joins active roster
Taylor was elevated from the practice squad to the active roster by the Jets on Saturday.
Analysis: The wide receiver was also elevated for the team's Week 9 game against the Chargers. Over two appearances this season, Taylor has one catch for seven yards on two targets.

Going back to practice squad
Taylor reverted to the Jets' practice squad Tuesday, per the NFL's transaction log.
Analysis: In his second appearance this season Monday, Taylor turned two targets into one catch for seven yards. Zach Wilson and the Jets' passing offense have been dreadful through eight games this season, so any Jets pass catcher not named Garrett Wilson has essentially been radioactive for the purposes of fantasy.

One catch in Week 9 loss
Taylor caught one of two targets for seven yards in Monday's 27-6 loss to the Chargers.
Analysis: Taylor was elevated from the practice squad for a second consecutive game and saw more involvement than he did in Week 8 against the Giants. The target he didn't catch was a deep ball on which Taylor failed to locate the football. New York's lack of depth at wide receiver could lead to more opportunities for Taylor moving forward, but he's unlikely to move the needle in fantasy.

Gets elevated for Week 9
The Jets elevated Taylor from their practice squad for Monday's game versus the Chargers, Ethan Greenberg of the Jets' official site reports.
Analysis: Taylor was called up for the second straight game Monday. In Week 8 at the Giants, he did not draw a target on 22 offensive snaps.

Reverts to practice squad
Taylor reverted to the Jets' practice squad Monday.
Analysis: Taylor was called up with both Randall Cobb (shoulder) and Irvin Charles (shoulder) out and played 23 snaps on offense. The 27-year-old didn't record any stats but managed to draw a defensive pass interference penalty and could be elevated again next week versus the Chargers if either Cobb or Charles is out again.

Moves up from practice squad
The Jets elevated Taylor to the active roster Saturday.
Analysis: Taylor joined the Jets' practice squad Sept. 12 after being cut by the team ahead of the 53-man roster deadline at the end of training camp. He last played for the Packers in 2021 and was mostly utilized on special teams over 10 games that season. He could see some playing time Sunday against the Giants on special teams and potentially as a depth wide receiver, with Randall Cobb (shoulder) and Irvin Charles (shoulder) both dealing with injuries.

Back with Jets' practice squad
The Jets signed Taylor to their practice squad Tuesday.
Analysis: In a corresponding move, linebacker Caleb Johnson was cut from the practice squad. The Jets already carry seven healthy wide receivers on their active roster, so it would be surprising to see Taylor elevated anytime soon.

Let go by Jets
The Jets cut Taylor with a non-football illness designation Tuesday, per the NFL's transaction log.
Analysis: Taylor made some noise for the Jets in the preseason, so it may be that his current illness negatively impacted his chances of making the initial 53-man roster. Of course, the former Packer always faced long odds to stick beyond the offseason, given the team's depth at the position. From 2020-21, Taylor suited up for 25 games in Green Bay as a depth wideout.

Makes 57-yard grab
Taylor caught one of two targets for 57 yards in Thursday's 21-16 preseason loss to the Browns.
Analysis: Taylor made a nice catch on a deep ball down the sideline from Zach Wilson in the first quarter. The former Packers wide receiver remains a long shot to make the Jets' roster, but Taylor made a nice impression in the preseason opener, as no other Jet reached 20 receiving yards.

Lands new deal with Jets
The Jets signed Taylor to a reserve/future contract Monday, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.
Analysis: Taylor was placed on Green Bay's IR with an undisclosed injury in mid-August before being waived with an injury settlement Sept. 15. The 27-year-old then spent the majority of the season unsigned before joining the Jets' practice squad Dec. 29. Taylor caught seven of 13 targets for 80 yards and a touchdown across 25 games during the previous two seasons with the Packers. He'll now look to make an impression with the Jets this offseason.

Joins Jets' practice squad
New York signed Taylor to the practice squad Thursday, Ethan Greenberg of the team's official site reports.
Analysis: Taylor takes the spot of linebacker Kai Nacua on the practice squad. Taylor logged 25 total appearances with the Packers over the 2020 and 2021 seasons, in which span he secured seven of nine targets for 80 yards and one touchdown. Now with the Jets, Taylor will provide some emergency depth at wide receiver.

Gets tryout with Atlanta
Taylor (undisclosed) tried out for Atlanta on Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.
Analysis: Taylor was waived from injured reserve by the Packers in mid-September, but he appears to have put the undisclosed injury behind him and is looking for another NFL opportunity. The 26-year-old wideout played primarily on special teams during the 2020 and 2021 campaigns with Green Bay, but he does have seven career receptions for 80 yards and a score.

Taylor (undisclosed) was waived from the Packers' injured reserve with an injury settlement Thursday, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.
Analysis: Taylor appeared set to miss the entirety of the 2022 campaign after he reverted to Green Bay's IR in mid-August. The 26-year-old wideout recorded 14 yards on two receptions while primarily playing on special teams (131 of his 153 total snaps) over 10 games with the Packers in 2021. Taylor will now be free to work out a contract elsewhere, assuming he gets healthy again at some point this regular season.

Turner (undisclosed) reverted to the Packers' injured reserve list Thursday, per the NFL's transaction log.
Analysis: Barring an injury settlement, Turner won't have an opportunity to play this upcoming season after he cleared waivers and recently transitioned to Green Bay's injured reserve list. Since going undrafted in 2019, the 6-foot-1, 220-pound receiver suited up for 25 games, catching seven passes for 81 yards and one touchdown.

Sits out public practice
Taylor did not participate in the Packers' Family Night practice Friday due to a shoulder injury, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.
Analysis: Taylor has yet to participate in Green Bay's training camp this offseason while dealing with an unspecified shoulder injury. The 26-year-old wideout was tendered as an exclusive rights free agent by the Packers in March, though he'll need to make a return to the field in order to secure a depth role on the team's roster this preseason.

Tendered by Packers
The Packers tendered Taylor as an exclusive rights free agent Wednesday, Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Analysis: Taylor finished the 2021 campaign on injured reserve due to a shoulder injury, but he should be healthy heading into offseason activities. He made 10 appearances for Green Bay last year but didn't have a significant role in the passing game, as he hauled in just two of three targets for 14 yards.

Placed on IR
Taylor (shoulder) was moved to injured reserve Friday, per the team's official site.
Analysis: Taylor had previously been dealing with an abdominal issue, and it's unclear when he picked up the shoulder injury. Active Sunday
Taylor (abdomen) will play Sunday against the Ravens, Mike Spofford of the Packers' official site reports.

Questionable to return
Taylor is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Bears due to an abdominal injury.
Analysis: Taylor wasn't targeted to begin Sunday's matchup, but he was banged up early in the second half. He also dealt with an abdominal issue in November that forced him to miss one game. Amari Rodgers will likely serve as Green Bay's kick returner if Taylor is unable to return.

Logs full practice Thursday
Taylor (abdomen) logged a full practice Thursday.
Analysis: Taylor was coming off a limited practice Wednesday, so this is a positive development toward his potential availability for Sunday's game against Chicago. Taylor will not play in Sunday's matchup with the Vikings due to an abdominal injury, Wes Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official website reports.

Analysis: Green Bay has placed both of its top receivers (Davante Adams and Allen Lazard) on the COVID-19 list over the last two days, but the Packers will at least get one wideout back on the 53-man roster in Taylor, who was placed on the list Oct. 15. Placed on COVID-19 list
Taylor (illness) was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Friday, Ryan Wood of the Green Bay Press-Gazette reports.
Analysis: Taylor dealt with an illness that landed him on the injury report, and it now appears that he's in danger of missing Green Bay's Week 6 matchup against the Bears. While it's not yet clear whether the 25-year-old has tested positive for COVID-19, the Packers could have limited depth at wide receiver Sunday since Marquez Valdes-Scantling (hamstring) is on IR.

Dealing with illness
Taylor landed on the injury report Friday with an illness and is listed as questionable for Sunday's matchup with the Bears, Ryan Wood of the Green Bay Press-Gazette reports.
Analysis: Landing on the injury report this late in the week is not a good sign for Taylor's availability in Week 6. The 25-year-old has played only nine offensive snaps since Week 1, so if he is unavailable it shouldn't have an impact on the Packers' offensive rotations. However, Green Bay is already without Marquez Valdes-Scantling (hamstring), so they may need to add a wideout to the active roster before the showdown with their division rivals.

Draws three looks late in Week 1
Taylor was targeted three times and caught two passes for 14 yards in Sunday's 38-3 loss to the Saints.
Analysis: The three targets were a career high for Taylor, but they all came in garbage time and after starting quarterback Aaron Rodgers had left the game. Taylor led the league in receiving yards during the preseason, but he's no more than depth at the moment, as his 15 snaps were less than half the number played by the Packers' top three wideouts.

Secures roster spot
Taylor secured a spot on the Packers' roster Tuesday.
Analysis: Despite appearing in 15 games for the Packers last season Taylor was not assured a place on this year's roster, but he beat out a number of fellow pass catchers during training camp and came away with the sixth and final spot at his position. Taylor led the Packers with 185 receiving yards during the preseason, but only one of the five players in front of him saw any preseason action at all, and it's unlikely he will play more than a bit role on offense when the regular season gets underway.

Produces again in preseason finale
Taylor was targeted six times and caught five passes for 69 yards in Saturday's preseason finale against the Bills.
Analysis: Taylor produced in each of the Packers' three exhibition contests and finished the preseason with totals of 16 targets, 14 receptions and 185 receiving yards. He is still not a lock to make the cut with five other players at his position guaranteed to do so, but if the Packers elect to keep more than five wideouts and with Devin Funchess no longer on the roster, Taylor looks like the favorite to claim the next spot.

Another quality preseason showing
Taylor was targeted five times and caught four passes for 66 yards in Saturday's preseason game against the Jets.
Analysis: Taylor made a couple impressive catches in Saturday's game and easily led all Packers pass catchers in receiving yards in the team's second exhibition contest. He does not have a roster spot locked up as of yet, but with nine receptions for 116 yards yards through two preseason games, he has put himself in good position to secure one.

Five catches in exhibition opener
Taylor caught all five of the passes thrown his way and racked up 50 receiving yards in the Packers' preseason opener against the Texans.
Analysis: Taylor is competing for a roster spot despite suiting up for 15 games in 2020, and he fared well in his first live action of the exhibition slate, finishing second among Packers pass catchers in both receptions and receiving yards. Taylor has his work cut out for him the rest of the way, but he played frequently on special teams last season, and that will help his cause when the Packers' final cuts are made.

Earns ERFA tender
The Packers gave an exclusive-rights free-agent tender to Taylor on Monday, Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Analysis: Taylor played 15 games for the Packers in 2020, catching five of six targets for 66 yards and a touchdown. The Ferris State product also contributed as a kick returner, taking back nine kicks for 167 yards. The Packers likely will add to their wide-receiver corps through free agency or the draft, so Taylor will be on the roster bubble in 2021.

Spends all of 2020 on active roster
Taylor recorded five receptions for 66 yards and a touchdown and one carry for nine yards over 15 regular-season appearances in 2020. He also returned nine kicks for 167 yards.
Analysis: After spending all of the 2019 season on the Packers' practice squad, Taylor earned a roster spot in 2020 and never gave it up. He got a chance to show what he could do when the Packers were down a couple wideouts early in the season, but he saw the bulk of his action on special teams over the course of the campaign. Taylor's experience will help his chances of holding onto a spot on the Packers' roster in 2021, but he's likely going to have compete for a job n training camp.

Ready for Saturday
Taylor (hamstring) is active for Saturday's game against the Panthers.
Analysis: Taylor was considered questionable due to the hamstring injury, but it won't prevent him from suiting up Saturday. Taylor (hamstring) is questionable heading into Saturday's matchup against Carolina, Wes Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official site reports.
Analysis: Green Bay presents a relatively straightforward injury report heading into a Week 15 home game, with Taylor being the only member of the roster listed as questionable. Taylor's hamstring issue forced him to miss his first game of 2020 last Sunday against the Lions, and his status remains on the fence heading into a matchup against the sliding Panthers. Taylor was limited at Wednesday's practice due to a hamstring injury.
Analysis: After missing last week's game against Detroit and Tuesday's practice with the hamstring injury, Taylor made some progress. The Ferris State product has primarily seen action on special teams this season, but he's hauled in five catches for 66 yards and a touchdown on offense. First catch since Week 8
Taylor caught one pass for 14 yards in Sunday's victory over the Eagles.
Analysis: Taylor was on the field for just five snaps Sunday, but that was enough for him to record his first reception since Week 8. He will have a chance to see a bit more action in Week 14 if fourth wideout Equanimeous St. Brown (concussion) is sidelined, but the Packers could instead choose to get Tavon Austin involved, and Green Bay rarely has more than three receivers on the field at the same time anyway.

Makes one reception
Taylor had one reception for a career-long 26 yards in Sunday's loss to the Vikings.
Analysis: While Taylor made some noise for the second week in a row, he was on the field for just 13 plays -- the fewest of any of the five Packers receivers that were active Sunday. His roster spot will be on the line whenever Allen Lazard (abdomen) is ready to be activated from injured reserve.

Makes most of limited chances
Taylor was targeted twice and tallied two receptions for six yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 35-20 victory over the Texans.
Analysis: The two receptions were a career high for Taylor, and the touchdown was his first as a professional. Despite making some impact in the box score, it should be noted that Taylor was on the field for just 10 plays and finished a distant fourth in snaps among Packers receivers after ending up third in that department Week 6 and second in the team's previous game Week 4.

Held without catch
Taylor was targeted once but did not catch a pass in Sunday's 38-10 loss to the Buccaneers.
Analysis: Taylor played just over half the available snaps Week 6 and finished third among Packers wideouts in that category, but the return of Davante Adams cost him some time on the field, and he clearly was not much of factor in the offense. Taylor could continue to have a role until Allen Lazard (abdomen) returns, but he presumably will have to fend off Equanimeous St. Brown -- a slightly more-established wideout who made his season debut Sunday -- in order to do so.

He played only a bit role in the offense, but he did notch his first career reception on a fourth-down play that extended a Packers scoring drive near the end of the first half. While Taylor spent a lot of time on the field Monday, his snap count figures to take a hit next time the Packers take the field in Week 6, as Davante Adams (hamstring) will…read more

Plays one snap on offense
Taylor was limited to just one snap on offense in Sunday's 43-34 victory over the Vikings.
Analysis: Taylor was one of only four active receivers for the Packers in Week 1, but he was limited mainly to special teams as the Packers utilized extra tight ends whenever they wanted to get more pass catchers on the field. The three receivers ahead of Taylor on the depth chart all produced Sunday, so expect him to continue serving mainly as insurance should one of them miss time for any reason.

Opens as fourth receiver
Taylor will open the season as the Packers' No. 4 receiver.
Analysis: It was somewhat of a surprise that Taylor cracked the Packers' 53-man roster, but the team's Week 1 lineup indicates he comfortably made the cut, as he will be in uniform and fellow wideout Equanimeous St. Brown will be a healthy scratch. Taylor does not figure to have a big role, but he could see a few snaps on offense and will likely be busy on special teams.

Listed as backup
Taylor is listed as the backup to Allen Lazard on the unofficial depth chart released by Green Bay on Monday night.
Analysis: Taylor looks set to begin the 2020 campaign as Green Bay's fifth wideout, with Equanimeous St. Brown having earned two backup gigs on the initial depth chart. The Ferris State product spent time on the Packers' practice squad last season. With Devin Funchess having opted out, Taylor could now be in fair position to make his NFL debut this year.
